Communication Concepts

An illustrative example of my conceptual work in communications is the social media content look for blyss.press.

In coordination with blyss.press’ marketing team, I was tasked with analyzing and reworking their social media content look. After reviewing their previous public and social media presence and analyzing their market, I developed new communication strategies and designs that instantly convinced my clients.

My 5-step workflow to meet my clients’ expectations:
  1. First Meeting
    • Taking stock of my clients’ public appearance
    • Clarifying expectations, priorities, and time-frames
  2. Exploring the Market
    • Analyzing competition and relevant KPIs
    • Revisiting my clients’ previous social media appearance
  3. Developing Concepts
    • Drafting notes & sketches
    • Compiling a conceptual proposal, including:
      • Redesigned content look for cross-media assets
      • Tailored and targeted communication strategy
  4. Presentation
    • Presenting the conceptual proposal
    • Open discussion and feedback collection
    • Iterative process (i.e., repeating step 3 and 4 if necessary)
  5. Continued Collaboration
    • Based on the design proposals and communication strategies, I also offer my clients to continue our collaboration in the form of media productions and ongoing creative consultations

Following this conceptual overhaul, my clients entrusted me with the production of social media assets.
